YTS Accounting Officer

Yayasan Tambuhak Sinta (YTS), a Kalimantan-based foundation head-quartered in Palangka Raya, is striving to improve the quality of governance and well-being in areas affected by resource-based development activities, and is working closely with communities, local government and resource-based companies to achieve this objective.

Currently, we have an opportunity for an experienced, professional accounting officer, who will be responsible for bookkeeping and asset management at YTS. Applicants must have a passion for accounting in the social development sector, to be part of a team providing reliable and accurate financial data and information to the foundation’s management.

This is the background experience and qualities we require:

• Minimum two years’ experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
• Prior experience in providing records and data for internal and external audit.
• Strong accounting skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent computer skills – accounting system software (YTS currently uses ACCURATE, MS Office, internet).
• University degree in accounting is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills – Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Prior work experience in a NGO and multicultural environment.
• Good team working skills, as well as reliability as an individual.
