Yayasan Tambuhak Sinta (YTS) is a community development foundation based in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. Established in 1998, we are commited to creating an enabling environtment for sustainable and equitable development—by putting people and communities at the heart of everything we do.
Visi
An inventive, advanced and prosperous society in Central Kalimantan that runs on good governance, and sustainable economic, environmental, and social-cultural development principles, based on true human values guided by the grace of Almighty God.
YTS works closely with village governments—especially village heads—to strengthen governance, health, education, livelihoods, culture, infrastructure, environment, and gender equality.
We also support the development of peatland restoration and conservation roadmaps in Central Kalimantan, through programs aligned with SDGs, sustainable agriculture, and climate mitigation.
Our recent partners and funders include GIZ, ACIAR Australia, Cambridge University, KOMIR, JDCC, Susila Dharma International, UNCCD, and others.
