Collaboration with the Department of Sociology at UPR
On June 11, 2025, YTS and the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Palangka Raya (UPR), officially signed an MoU for internships, research, and community engagement. The signing took place at FISIP UPR’s Demonstration Room.

Joni Rusmanto, Head of the Sociology Department, emphasized the importance of internships that truly align with students’ fields of study and help them engage with real-world challenges. Representing YTS, Wandy Tuturoong highlighted the growing relevance of the humanities and social analysis in today’s workforce—especially as more companies seek to strengthen their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards.
This partnership goes beyond paperwork. It’s a shared commitment to bridging classroom learning with meaningful field experience — turning knowledge into action. Both sides believe in building high-quality, research-based programs that bring real benefits to communities and the environment in Central Kalimantan. This is a strong step in that direction.
